Over Father's Day weekend, we went with Cameron's family to Fairview to go camping. We got to stay in a super fun cabin and had a blast. It was pretty rainy and too wet to do much outside until Sunday, but that didnt stop us from having fun. It was beautiful, so green, and I loved to sit out on the balcony as it rained. We roasted marshmallows on the stove, tried to avoid all the nasty ticks, (Alex got one anyway) played games and hung out together. You forget how entertaining toddlers are until you are stuck in a cabin for a weekend with them.
It was a lot of fun and the kids were very excited to be able to play outside on our last day there. Cameron and Abou took the kids on a walk to hunt for wildlife. The most exciting thing they found were some HUGE worms. Then Cameron took the older kids on 4 wheeler rides. Kayson wasnt quite sure he wanted to go, but when he was done he said" Dad didnt scare me too much."
