My baby girl turned one on November 7th. She is such a joy to have in our lives. She has the most contagious smile and lights up the room. I could not imagine my life without her in it.

She is your typical one year old and into everything. She has 8 teeth and is getting her one year molars. She has a limited vocabulary, but it is growing everyday. She has her favorites-mama, dada, baba (bottle) and of course dont. She will tell you what the puppy says and the kitty. She can stand on her own and has begun to walk, she will take about 10 steps then gets too excited and falls. She loves to talk on the phone, take baths and watch her brothers and sister. She also loves to dance. She also loves to do anything she's not supposed to do, she waits till you see her heading towards something like the stairs then laughs and books it. She is super fast too. She is so much fun but such a handful at the same time. We sure love our baby girl!!!

Here are my little ghouls this year! WE had a very fun, but wet Halloween. I hope you all had a fun and safe night too.

Kenzie was a vampire, she is following in her mamma's footsteps and reading age appropriate vampire books and is trying to talk me into letting her read my Twilight books, maybe in a few more years :)
Zack was a evil (not so much with that grin of his) wizard, Kayson was a skeleton-he loved his "Nask" and Jaycee was a darling little kitty. We kept trying to get her to "meow" but the best we got was a howl like her puppy!

Carving Pumpkins

 

 

 

 

This is one of our favorite things to do this time of year. We all go pick out our pumpkins, decide if we are going to copy a stencil or try it freehand and then go at it. This year was really warm so we were lucky enough to be able to "gut" our pumpkins outside also that was Kenzie's favorite part, so she did hers, Kayson's, Jaycee's, Mom's and Dad's :)
Kenzie did hers freehand and it turned out fantastic! Zack did his all by himself, he did a stencil of "Dinner with Igor"-so fun! Kayson decided on a stencil of a silly face and traced it without help, he did a great job for only being 4! and I did a kitty one for Jaycee. Cam and I did one too. We got an idea thru an email and it was really fun to do.

Is She Really 10 Already?

 

 

 

 

I can not believe it!! My baby girl is ten! MacKenzie turned 10 on September 28th (I am a little slow on posting:) I can't believe how fast time has flown by.

She begged and pleaded to have a sleepover this year, a house full of 10 year old girls sounded a little crazy, but you're only ten once, right? She chose the Rock Star theme and planned the whole thing herself-can we say, future party planner? We did backstage passes for the invitations. They made concert T-shirts and music vidoes. They did each others hair, make-up and don't forget the tatoos. Then they had popcorn and did pedicures, complete with the foot soaks. They all had a blast!!
