Jaycee is 2!!!!

I can not believe my baby is 2! She has grown up so fast! She is a very active little girl with a very big attitude :) She is such a cute and fun little doll that I can not imagine her not in my life.
We love you, Jaycee!!
Likes: pickles, taking bites out of every apple in the fruit bowl, macaroni and cheese, playing outside, baby dolls, climbing on Indy, being the little princess, playing guitar hero, stealing her dad's spot on the couch whenever he gets up, singing in the car with Kayson.
Dislikes: Getting in her carseat (she wants to sit in the back like the big kids,) coming inside from playing outside, sleeping in her own bed, wearing clothes (and diapers) being told what to do.
She is still a very petite little thing but is happy and healthy. She is finally starting to get hair and wont let me touch it. It looks like it might be reddish with some curl, we are crossing our fingers :)

Hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween. We had a really good time, we started out the weekend at Monet's on Friday night for a Halloween party. It was really fun and the kids were all glad to see their cousins and the fun costumes they had. I actually saw my mom dressed for the first time that I can remember. She made the best Mary Poppins!

On Saturday we took the kids to our neigborhood "Trunk or Treat" and ran out of candy. Whoops! Guess we will know better for next year :)
After that we headed over to Nana's to hit all the houses over there. We went and picked up Kai (Cameron's sister's darling little boy) and his mom and dad and went to it. Kai and Jaycee were so cute! They thought being able to knock on a door and get candy, FOR FREE, was the best thing ever! Jaycee was running down the sidewalk yelling at all of us "Let's go treatin'" and Kai just kept saying "trick or treat" over and over. So much fun and great memories! There is a house in Cam's old neighborhood that has made homemade donuts since he was little, it has been so neat to be able to take our kids there as well.
Once the kids were getting tired and cold, we headed to Nana's and had our traditional homemade rootbeer (in a smoking couldron) and stew in bread bowls. So, so yummy and perfect. The kids showed off all their candy and had some great cuddle time with Nana and Papa.

Carving Pumpkins

Posted by Picasa
Carving pumpkins is one of my favorite things about Halloween, I love having the kids pick out their pattern and see how thrilled they are once it is finished. Cam was the "helper" this year and I think Jaycee had a lot of fun carving her pumpkin with her dad.
Unfortunately, Zack wasnt able to finish his pumpkin, he had a pattern that was a little complex and ended up having it all cave in. He is such a good sport and didnt even care! He just had fun doing it! That's what it is all about anyway, right?

Here are the finished pumpkins! They are so great!

Here they are with Chalice's Jack Skellington and Dani's M&M's. Kenzie also did the Winnie the Pooh. Zack had an awesome Jack Skellington one as well.
