My 2 "sweet" candy girls- Jaycee as a hershey's kiss and Kenzie as a candy corn
My 2 rival boys- Zack as the Joker and Kayson as Batman
All the kids with Indy as a hot dog
Hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween. We had a really good time, we started out the weekend at Monet's on Friday night for a Halloween party. It was really fun and the kids were all glad to see their cousins and the fun costumes they had. I actually saw my mom dressed for the first time that I can remember. She made the best Mary Poppins!
On Saturday we took the kids to our neigborhood "Trunk or Treat" and ran out of candy. Whoops! Guess we will know better for next year :)
After that we headed over to Nana's to hit all the houses over there. We went and picked up Kai (Cameron's sister's darling little boy) and his mom and dad and went to it. Kai and Jaycee were so cute! They thought being able to knock on a door and get candy, FOR FREE, was the best thing ever! Jaycee was running down the sidewalk yelling at all of us "Let's go treatin'" and Kai just kept saying "trick or treat" over and over. So much fun and great memories! There is a house in Cam's old neighborhood that has made homemade donuts since he was little, it has been so neat to be able to take our kids there as well.
Once the kids were getting tired and cold, we headed to Nana's and had our traditional homemade rootbeer (in a smoking couldron) and stew in bread bowls. So, so yummy and perfect. The kids showed off all their candy and had some great cuddle time with Nana and Papa.
